A new Saudi lighting store launching on Salla with a high-SKU catalog and no SEO or analytics foundation in place.

Context

Gmraa (قمراء للإنارة) entered a competitive lighting category on Salla with a catalog spanning chandeliers, indoor and outdoor fixtures, and spotlights — needing structure and tracking in place from day one rather than retrofitted later.

The Problem

No SEO foundation, no analytics, and a high-SKU catalog that needed proper structure before launch rather than after.

Responsibility

Built the store's full digital foundation ahead of launch on Salla.

What Was Done

  • Organized the product catalog into categories aligned with how Saudi buyers actually search (chandeliers, indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, spotlights).
  • Set up GA4 and GTM with complete e-commerce event tracking ahead of launch.
  • Optimized product page structure and metadata for search visibility.
  • Implemented a technical SEO foundation, including sitemap, structured data, and Core Web Vitals improvements.

Result

The store launched with an SEO architecture, full conversion tracking, and a catalog structured for both navigation and search-engine indexing already in place — avoiding the technical debt that builds up when these foundations are added after launch.

How It Was Measured

Verified through Search Console indexation status and live GA4 tracking confirmed active at launch.

What It Showed

Building tracking and SEO foundations before launch avoids retrofitting work that is far more expensive once a catalog and its indexation are already live.
